Another round of updates based on feedback. I have added better control over tab colors (both on the tab set properties and in the Miscellaneous tab). I have also added an option to set the default selected tab in a tabset and also a new rule action to let you set the default selected tab in a tabset from a rule.

Another round of updates based on your feedback. Some new functionality has been added and I have fixed a few bugs in the overriding of the buttons and menus in the list view to ensure the modern DFFS form is opened and not the out-of-the-box SharePoint form.

I’ll post some examples on Custom JS for this new version later this week.

I have finally released the new (still BETA) version of the Modern DFFS.

I have been working day and night last four weeks and have added a lot of new features to this release. vLookup is back and you find both dev mode, restore points, import config from other forms in the same list and switch form config.

There are still features missing if you compare with the old DFFS version. I’ll add more features (like cascading dropdowns) and hopefully release the first production ready version later this month, but I need feedback from you all to ensure it works as expected.
