vLookup to document library over 5k items

I have a vlookup connection to a document library (I have old forum questions about set up back in 2021-2022). The library has hit over the 5000 item view limit causing the vlookup portion on the main form to show a DEBUG/Error message and not the vlookup table. Now, I said to offload as much as possible but was curious if there are ways around that limit using vlookup?

Hi,
Yes, this should be an easy fix. You must open the list settings on your document library and index the field you use in your vLookup filter query (_vLookupParentIDif you followed the setup example). When this is done, your vLookup should be back in working order.
