Alex, I’m wondering if there’s a way to restrict visibility to the “add new item” link in the vLookup config to certain people/groups. Currently, I have several lists where I use twin vLookup columns: one with a link and one without, and leverage rules to hide/show the vLookup column with the “add new item” link enabled. Picky, I know.

          Hi,
You can hide the “Add new item” link from a rule by adding the id to the “Hidden headings or elements” area in the rule. The id can be found by inspecting the link, or typing it like this:

          newItemWrap_vLookupTasks

Change “vLookupTasks” to match your field name.

Let me know how this works out.

          Alexander

Thanks Alex; Appreciate your quick response! I did find that in another post. This was more of a feature suggestion within the vLookup configuration tab of DFFS.

OK, I’ll see if I can find a solution.
