Lookup question.

Hi Alexander.

I’m moving from an Excel spreadsheet where I select a supplier from a from a dropdown list and the corresponding address fields are instantly populated. I’d like to do the same in my SharePoint ‘New’ form. I can select the supplier but the address fields are not populated till I save the form. Is there any way to instantly pull and display the address without saving first?

Are you using a normal lookup column? – if so, I made an example 6 years ago: https://spjsblog.com/2013/10/16/display-information-from-another-list-based-on-a-lookup-column-connection-updated-version/

It is not written for DFFS, but if you add the contents of PullInformationFromConnectedList.js in your Custom JS I guess you should be able to use it.
