List URL from external intranet SharePoint

Alexander, is it possible to connect to a list from a SharePoint outside the site collection but within the same intranet? If so, can you guide me on how to set up the connection? I tried using the “Url:” prefix but I can’t get it to work.

This should work if you use the full URL in the “List base URL” field – have you tested this?

I have tested that, with many variations in the URL. I can’t find a combination of URL and list GUID that works – keep getting “failed to query list”.

The ““List base URL” should be the same as the value you get if you go to the “external site”, bring up the console and type:

makeAbsUrl(_spPageContextInfo.webAbsoluteUrl);
