          Hi,
          I suggest you set a rule to hide the entire tab if the specific field is empty. Then you have another tab that is set to visible if the same field is empty (containing the field in question). This way you show the first tab if the field is empty, and the second if it is not. When you do the selection in the field, the tabs are switched.
