In the interface tab misc you are able to put a password on entering the setup of the dffs forms. But I ‘d rather use SharePoint groups to give that permission.
But you make the remark to use this with caution and recommend the password option. Why is that? Does you not trust using sharepoint groups?
This warning is a bit to harsh. The only problem would be in case you enter an ID or name of a group and have a typo so you are not actually a member of this group. In that case you would lock yourself out of the configuration.
Thanks Alexander. Indeed that would be a disaster. But if I would make a groupname typo, I could create that group with the typo to get around this issue. Is that right?
