Editing in JS Custom Area

Hi Alex,

I’m upgrading to Dynamic Forms for SharePoint DFFS Backend v4.4.3.42|CSS version: 4.42 / 4.42|spjs-utility version: 1.32.

I’m using IE 11 windows 10 In the JS Custom Area no characters appear when I type. When I click into the area a curser appears but then typing shows no characters and curser does not move. Any ideas as to the problem?

P.S It does work in Chrome but I don’t always have access to that.

Hi,
This is because the version of ACE (code highlighter) does not like IE8 (or IE 8 mode).

You can downgrade to a previous version of this plugin by replacing the contents of this folder “/SPJS/DFFS/ace/src-min-noconflict” with the files from a version before DFFS v4.4.3.37 – please note that the folder structure in older versions have the files directly under the “/ace” folder, but you must use the new folder structure.
