Hi,
IE stopped displaying the google charts last week following a windows update so I started to use Chrome and managed to view the table but the form will not open in Chrome whilst the DFFS in enabled on the list.
I tried the developer mode but all I see is this (attached image).I also disabled all extensions apart from one that I cannot disable called “Walkme”.
Currently and ironically I have to copy the link and open the form in IE.
Any thoughts anyone?
Phil

By the way, I get the same behavior in Firefox as Chrome.

I’m not familiar with the extensions listed in your screenshot. What do you see when you try opening the forms? – a blank page, or an unformatted (no DFFS) form?
Is your Chrome updated? – see Help > About Chrome

I get the opening splash screen then it times out and states “this took forever!”
Google Chrome is up to date

Does this affect all forms or only this one?
Which version of DFFS are you running? – and are you using the v2 installer?

I see – does this affect all lists and forms you use with DFFS, or only this single form?

I’ve tried it on one other unused list and it acted the same so I don’t think it’s anything to do with the JS etc.
With DFFS off the list works with DFFS on it stops.

This was strange. Do you see any other errors in the developer tools (F12 > Console) than the one related to plugins?
Also, try clicking the Network tab and then reload the form. Use the “Filter” input in the top left corner to search form “dffs” and post a screenshot of the information.
Is there any chance I could log in and look at a test list? – if so, please email me the login details.

Alexander,
I’ve attached a screen grab of the network and what I see when I load the form.
Sorry there is no possibility to login.- This reply was modified 4 years, 8 months ago by Phil Grant.

Try reloading the form by hitting Ctrl + Shift + R to clear the cache.
Also, is Chrome behaving like this for all users or only for you?

Ctrl + Shift + R makes no difference
I’ve asked a few people in the office to try it on Chrome and Firefox and they have the same issue.I’m hoping that our IT dept. will soon roll out SharePoint 2019 but I’ve been waiting for a few months for tat to happen 🙁

If you have tried to install DFFS in a new list (with no custom js that could be causing problems) and the problem is the same, my only other suggestion is to update to the latest version of DFFS to see if that makes any difference. You find it here: https://spjsblog.com/dffs/dffs-installation-manual/#InstallDFFS
If that does not help, I can look at it on your screen if are able to invite me to a web meeting.
