Wish to force attachments shown in the Display Form when selected/clicked to have the option to Download in addition to open.

WayneHi everyone! 🙂
Seeking volunteers and examples of any custom code for the following scenario:
Wish to hide field elements in a Display Form in bulk if their value is blank.
Could accomplish this one field at a time with multiple rules but that is inefficient.
Thanks,
WayneHi Alexander! 🙂
Thanks so much for adding support for overriding text strings on buttons and other form elements it in the Misc tab. Can you also enable it to override them when a form is shown on a page using the Modern DFFS WebPart? I noticed the JSON updates did not apply when using the Modern DFFS WebPart.
Thanks,
WayneThanks so much again, Alexander, for providing timely, elegant, updated features from our feedback.
Thanks,
WayneHi Alexander! 🙂
How about a handy Custom JS example to rename the “Save and exit” button?
I was so spoiled with all of the Classic DFFS Built-in Function References.
Thanks again,

It is difficult to walk the users through getting me results via the developer tools (F12>Console) who are receiving errors, but I will try to get some results soon.
I have seen cases via screen share where I see the users incur the errors with Chrome and/or Edge.It does work if the user does a “hard refresh” using Ctrl + Shift + r (and/or clear the cache in the browser settings).
Thanks again,

I upgraded to v1.0.67.0 and experiencing issues with Modern DFFS in the standard list view not loading for a significant proportion of users (identical permissions and desktop setup).
I also can’t see anything yet that gives a clue as to the difference between those it works for and those it doesn’t, but as in the previous user’s case, the users in each camp are consistent.
The list view is NOT embedded into a SharePoint page.
In other words, I get this behavior when accessing the list directly (and as in the previous user’s experience, it works as expected everywhere for me).
For users where Modern DFFS fails, DFFS is not loaded in the page on the list view menu, therefore when the item link is clicked on, and instead of the (DFFS) dialog box popping out, a new tab opens with the non-DFFS item url in, showing the default SharePoint form.
Similar to the other user’s post is that it works normally for some users and not at all for others.
Thanks
WayneBingo, master developer! 🙂
The issue is addressed if I turn off “Allow management of content types”.
As always thanks again for addressing every scenario we bring to you.
Wayne
Thanks Alexander! 🙂
I did forget to configure the DispForm with DFFS for the New List.
So NEW lists look to be okay!
I am still faced with this error as originally reported in my environment:
The “New” button in the Microsoft List UI does NOT work in any EXISTING list.
Thanks for your patience.
WayneSometimes the Title linked to item DOES work in any EXISTING list.

Sometimes The “New” button in the Microsoft List UI does WORK in any EXISTING list. The Title linked to item does “NOT” work in any NEW list I create.
The “New” button in the Microsoft List UI “DOES” work in any NEW lists I create.See attached screenshot.

The Title linked to item now works but the “New” button in the Microsoft List UI does not override the out of the box form with the Modern DFFS solution at least in my existing lists in my environment. See attached screenshot.

Hi Alexander! 🙂
Thanks so much for the new version of the Modern DFFS that fixes the problem with the new Modern UI that Microsoft have pushed on September 4, 2024.
The Title linked to item now works but the “New” button in the Microsoft List UI does not override the out of the box form with the Modern DFFS solution.
Thanks,

“…Where did you remove the deleted fields (what part of the config)? – I need to know to be able to catch this error in future versions…”
-In my scenario, in the RulesJSON part of the config.
See attached.
Thanks,
