Is there a way to add a carriage return or break tag for a text field when using the Email Template? I currently have a text field where I want each row to wrap onto a new row in the email. However, currently all the text regardless of whether I manually add a hard return in the text field will always appear on one continuous row.

Is there a way to add CSS or HTML in the Email Template?

        Thanks

        Frank

There absolutely is html in the email templates. Just add <br> where you want the line break.

            Steve,

I’ll try it again since the <br> didn’t work for me. I had added the <br> before and after the field name.

            Thanks

              Still didn’t work.

              Here’s what I entered.

              {updates} <br>

I am have tried putting the tags before and after the field but still doesn’t work.

              Thanks

It won’t take a text field and add breaks for each line inside the field. It only adds breaks between fields.

Not sure you can accomplish something like this inside the field itself. When I had to do something like this I added fields to the form so that each line is its own field and then added breaks in the email between the fields.
