Table Charts Filter on ID for SP2019

I have one final issue with the table chart in SP2019, I cannot get a filter to work on the table chart for the ID, I have a field called “VCR ID” which is an “SPFieldCounter” and in SP2019 it will not return any records when used in a dropdown filter but all the other filters work fine.

The list was migrated from SP2010 to SP2019 and seems to work OK apart from this last issue.

This works OK in SP2010 but not in SP2019, any suggestions?
