        Alexander,

My first test was to replicate the setup of an existing chart in the new version. I don’t see the “String – merge duplicates” format available, and when I choose just “String” I get the following error:

Error: Row 0 has 1 columns, but must have 3

        Thanks!

          Hi,
This task is now performed by “Grouping” at the bottom of the first tab – check the “Group by first column” – and possibly combine it with “Split options in separate series” if you are charting on a choice column.

          Hope this helps,
          Alexander

            Cool thanks.

So my chart configuration is this:

Index 0 – SLT field – Split (also tried String)
            Index 1 – Number field – Sum
            Index 2 – Number field – Sum
Group by first column – True
Aggregation function – Count (also tried Sum)

And with that I am now getting this error:

Error: Invalid type, Sum, for column “MyNumberColumn”

I’ll need to have a close look – could you email me some screenshots of your data-source list and your chart config?

              Alexander

This is caused by using “Sum” and not “Number” as type – I have just released a new BETA and the “Sum” option have been removed (relic from v4).
