Alexander,
I’ve encountered a Rules issue that I see first in DFFS_v4.4.5.0_2020-06-01, but not prior versions.
In my scenario, I have four Choice columns (SPFieldChoice) arranged on a single row of my form as Side-by-Side (see the attached Tabs configuration, Rules configuration.png for configuration info).
Based on the choice value of the left-most Choice column, [Transaction Type], one or two of the remaining Choice columns are displayed.
- [Transaction Type]=New
- –Display [New Product]
- –Display [New Vendor]
- [Transaction Type]=Renewal
- –Display [Scope Impact]
To ensure previous selections are cleared, I set the values of secondary choice fields to empty when the opposite (New|Renewal) are selected.
The symptom that I am experiencing is that a value is being placed in the secondary choice fields when I switch back and forth to test. The specific condition is: Once a secondary choice field has a selection made, it will not clear, but will move the selection to the last choice. I believe the secondary choice should be cleared – but a choice, different than what I selected, persists. Please see the next two attachments (DFFS_v4.4.5.0_2020-06-01 – SYMPTOM.png and DFFS_v4.4.4.32_2020-05-10 NO SYMPTOM.png)
Versions tested:
- DFFS_v4.4.5.0_2020-06-01 – FAIL
- DFFS_v4.4.4.32_2020-05-10 – SUCCESS
Can you advise of troubleshooting or correction I need?
As always, your support and efforts are appreciated!
R’grds – Ben.

Thanks for the detailed description – this is a bug introduced with the new radio button layout in v4.4.5.0. Please try replacing SPJS-Utility.js in /SPJS/DFFS/plugins with the one attached (unzip first).
Remember to clear the cache and let me know if it fixes the issue.

Alexander,
Yes! SPJS-utility_v1.348 fixed my issue.
Aside from clearing the cache, I found I had to Update loader file in DFFSInstaller_V2 (… If you have updated DFFS to a new version you should hit the button to write a new timestamp to the loader file to prevent the browser from caching the script files.).
Once done, SPJS-utility_v1.348 loaded correctly, and my symptom is resolved.
Again, your support and efforts are greatly appreciated!
