Save and redirect errors

I am currently attempting to leverage the save and reload in the edit view within DFFS on SharePoint SE, DFFS version 4.4.5.56 . When I utilize this option emails triggered through a combination of linked rules and on save functionality are no longer sending the emails. After reviewing it appears the system on reload is modifying the url to append “&sTab=1&dffsRedir=1”. I have not been able to find a functioning solution to override this and still allow a save and continue editing functionality. Any assistance is appreciated.

The dffsRedir=1 is applied to the redirect url so if you see that the redirect has been done. Try opening the developer tools in the browser (hit F12 > Open DevTools (if prompted) > Select the Console tab) and look for errors when you try to save an item.

You can also turn on debugging on all presave actions by checking the “Activate debug on all presave actions” in the top of the Rules tab to see if it does what you think it does.

I ran the debugger and checked for console errors. The rules are all showing triggered correctly, but the presage action is not sending the email even with rule triggering true.
