PreSaveAction to Prevent Save Conflicts

I am getting frequent save conflict errors because I have workflows setting values in some fields while users are in the EditForm. Is there a way to update the fields set by workflow (users will never manually update these fields) before saving so we don’t get the save conflict? Or is there some other way to avoid this error with DFFS??

Hi,
Can you be more specific about what kind of values you are updating? – In most cases you can use DFFS and some custom code to do this.

I figured out I could move all my workflow functionality into my DFFS forms, so no more save conflicts. Thanks! 🙂
