Modern DFFS 2.0 is released, and spjsworks.com has been rebuilt from scratch to go with it: new documentation, guides for every feature, and a full changelog.
What’s new in 2.0
- AI Assistant — describe a form in plain language and have it built, edited or reviewed. Works with Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, Mistral, Grok or Groq. You supply your own API key or paste the prompt into an AI tool you already use — AI access isn’t included in the license.
- Related Items and Repeating Sections — real relationships between list items, and inline child records with totals, calculated columns and lookup-derived fields.
- Compute field value — Excel-style formula expressions with a live validator.
- Tenant centralization (Enterprise) — one central site for license, global Custom JS/CSS, branding and Reusable Content.
- Plus Theme Builder, Print to PDF, an Admin tool for managing configurations across your tenant, rich text fields, and a lot more in the changelog.
Licensing has changed — three editions
Essentials, Professional and Enterprise, so you only pay for what you need.
If you already hold a Modern DFFS license from before 2.0, it carries over as a Professional license at no cost. Nothing to buy, no new code to enter. That includes everything new at that tier — Related Items, Repeating Sections, Compute field value, the full field toolkit, REST data sources. What it doesn’t cover is what 2.0 added above it: the four add-ons and the Enterprise features.
Coming from Classic DFFS? Classic is a separate product with its own licenses, so it doesn’t convert automatically — but get in touch with your existing license details and you’ll get an upgrade quote. A built-in importer brings your existing configurations across, including Custom JS/CSS and vLookup setups.
Trying it
Fully functional 30-day trial, no credit card. A trial upgrade lets you evaluate Professional or Enterprise features before deciding.
Buying it right now
Card checkout isn’t live yet — we’re waiting on payment-provider approval. Until then every order is placed by invoice: email sales@spjsworks.com with your company details and the edition and quantity you need.
Card checkout is now live. Essentials and Professional can be bought directly from the pricing page. Payment is handled by Paddle, which applies the correct VAT or sales tax for your country automatically and provides the invoice. Enterprise and company-wide licenses are still arranged by direct invoice — email sales@spjsworks.com for those. Everything comes with a 30-day refund, for any reason.Note: Modern DFFS is for SharePoint Online / Microsoft 365 only. If you’re on on-premises SharePoint, Classic DFFS is still here and still supported.
