Uploading documents not linking to request

I have followed all your instructions on adding documents as items on a task list. I can get the “folder” to attach with no issues, but I am not able to get the files to transfer the data from the form to the field. Do you have any suggestions as to how to get a file to attach using vLookup? The metadata is added correctly, it just won’t send the data to the file: _vLookupID/_vLookupParentID
I also added DFFS to the document library forms just to make sure I had all code files.

Not sure I understand, but to set the metadata on the files, the EditForm of the documetn library mest be set up with DFFS and vLookup scripts to ensure it sets the parameters from the URL, but If you use folders and have the correct metadata on the folder (_vLookupID from parent in _vLookupParentID field in the folder), the files inside the folder should not need the have this metadata set.
