Show an icon instead of words on vLookup

I have a vLookup field that shows the communication that has happened on a complaint list item.

I’m looking for a way that I can show an icon instead of the text. So if the communication was Email, it shows an email icon, if it was phone then it shows a phone icon etc.

I have the images and the location and I’m sure it can be done in css on the special configuration section, but I’m struggling to work out exactly how to achieve it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
