Error: You are attempting to get the value from a date coumn using vLookup

When trying to run vLookup I get the error message (attached). I have been thru the documentation, and tried formatting the “to” date, but nothing so far is working. Any help would be appreciated!

Not sure if this is what you try to do, but look at the attached image from the “Prefill values in child” section.

Alexander – that fixed it! I see the problem I’m having: I’m using IE 11 — and it will not display all of the help text that you have pasted above — it cuts off at “Current User.”

I’m downloading Chrome now. Thanks again!
