I was wondering if it would be possible to embed a new/display/edit form from one list into another related list form. I have had some success using iFrames but it isn’t very clean and would be great to have as a standard feature.

Sorry, but I don’t have any ready solution. If you look for a input form with “simple” fields (not PP or lookup / taxonomy) and not the full form, it can be crated with a few lines of custom code.
