Auto populated fields on Add New

I wonder if there is an easy way to display auto populated fields as read-only when I add a new record from within vLookup. Currently, by the looks of it read only runs before the field gets populated and comes up as empty.

To give a real life example, if I am adding tasks under a project, it makes sense to display Project Name as the first item, to let user know which project they are adding into. But I don’t want to let them change Project Name.

Hi,
It seems I have a bug here that prevents this value to be picked up when setting the field as readonly in NewForm when the field you set is visible in the first tab.

The value is set, but will not show in the readonly field before you navigate to another tab and back.

I’ll fix this in the next release.
